Petteri Taalas is a climate change expert with a PhD in Meteorology and an extensive career in atmospheric science, leadership, and the UN affairs. He served as the Secretary-General of the World Meteorological Organization (WMO) for 8 years and is now Director General of the Finnish Meteorological Institute. Taalas has led significant reforms in global climate and water science, holding various leadership roles in national and international organizations, academia, and the private sector.
Join us for an engaging discussion on climate change and hear reflections on his experience living and working in France from 2017 to 2024.

12:00-13:00 Director General Petter TAALAS of FMI gives a presentation on climate change and will also give some insights on his experience living and working in France between 2017-2024.
The presentation is about 30 minutes and there is 30 minutes for Q&A an discussion.
